CURB CHECK

I should stop driving
After I added music to Maile's diary we decided that we'd hang out tonight and I was to drive. Well I asked my dad about driving and he went on and said, "What happenes if you get into an accident? What am I supposed to drive to work tomorrow?" I just stood there thinking, "Weren't you the one who wanted me to stop being 'anti-social'?" I don't understand my dad anymore, actually I don't think I ever did.
He ended up letting me go. When I got in the truck I said, "I HATE DRIVING!" But as soon as I got on Western and I hit 50MPH I screamed, "I LOVE DRIVING!" It's a love hate relationship. Maile and I went up to her mom's work - Eckerd's. We hung around for about 20min so we could see Maile's new man Sckyler. It was funny because we just played with all the stuff there, she took some wrapping paper and did guard moves with it and I took one of those bouncy balls and pretended to be a basketball player. Fun times. On my way there I hit the curb, I don't know how, but I did. I don't understand how I hit it because I wasn't anywhere NEAR that curb. I took her mom home and as I waiting for all the cars to clear - I had to cross traffic - this guy behind me decided to honk at me! What a fag. But I went when it was "safe" and we went to stalk a little bit. It was so fun.
The whole time I'm driving I'm getting all scared that something is up with the car. It was all because of what dad said, I was listening really hard because the breaks were squeeking. Maile went to Target and looked at shoes. It was so much fun, I never really get into shoes, but I found these awesome gold high heels that were 60's style, they were really cute! But I had nothing to go with them or I would've bought them. We just tried on shoes and it was really fun. Because they didn't have layaway we had to hide the shoes that Maile needed for prom. We went over to the CD's to look for The Notebook soundtrack. I looked for and couldn't find Death Cab for Cutie, but I did find The Postal Service. I bought that and as we were on the way back to Maile's house we went to Braum's for ice cream - it was 10PM when we got there.
AGAIN I freaking hit the curb, but that one I knew why. I did I really tight turn. So we're like the only people there and while we're getting ice cream we wave at David and this hot guy like a FOOT away from me is like, "Wha? Me?" I had to tell him, "No, David." It seemed like he didn't understand me until David walked right next to him. Funny stuff. We got our ice cream and sat down. We were talking shit about the girls sitting near us when David came and sat with us. I was saying how cute Kevin was - the guy that thought I was waving at him - and I got freaked out because I thought he could hear me through David's mouthpiece thing. He couldn't. But then next time David came out there Maile had written my name and number on the back of her receipt, so David called Kevin over there and gave it to him! I chatted with Kevin a bit and he seemed nice. He's 17 like me and he's got some asian in him. So we'll see. Before we left David was like, "THERESA!" and gave me a thumbs up. I hope that Sarah says yes to him, David is about to ask her to prom. EXCITING!
I took Maile home and I got home at 10:30PM. I was 30 minutes early. I watched the ending of Crossing Jordan and the beginning of Lara Croft: The Cradle of Life. I fell asleep at around 11:15PM and I woke up at 8:51 and fell back asleep then got up at 10AM to take a shower. I used the Zest soap that mom bought me and I like it. It didn't do what the commerical said, but it had a better scent than Ivory.
While I got dress and did my hair I listened to The Postal Service and fell in love. I'm so happy that Isaac told me about them because I love the CD. It's great. It's the music I've been looking for, it's not LOUD music and make your booty clap music. It's soft, but not Norah Jones soft. If you haven't heard any of their music you should, it's really good.
Finally got to watch Kill Bill Vol. 2 today. I just finished watching it actually. We got five more channels added to our "plan" from COX and I was channel surfing and found that it was coming on so I watched it. It was good, but not as good as the first one. More fighting in the first one, the second one is mostly story telling. Although I found the black momba part made me laugh, it should've have, but it did. It was because if you watch the Wild Boys they use a black sock and hit each other with it when they're sleeping and they call it the black momba. After I saw the whole black momba scene I can tell you that I didn't want to sit on the couch for awhile. I get like that after I see stuff about snakes, freaks me out.
I hear we're getting new couches. I guess that's cool. But then I know I won't be permitted on it because I "blop" on the couch rather than "sit". Personally I could careless, I sit on the floor a lot anyway. I wonder what kind they'll be? My parents will get them next summer most likely and only have to worry about the dogs sleeping on them, rather than kids and dogs.
